Unterwegs auf dem Stuart Highway im Northern Territory, Australien
Route: Tennant Creek - Devils Marbles - Wauchope - Wycliffe Well (UFO Zentrum) - Ti-Tree - Aileron - Alice Springs

Etwa 100 km südlich von Tennant Creek, noch vor dem Wauchope Roadhouse befinden sich die Devils Marbles. Die "Devils Marbles" sind eine grössere Anzahl Granitblöcke, welche bei der Entstehung des Kontinents durch Erdspalten aus der Tiefe an die Oberfläche gepresst worden sind.

Ein paar Kilometer weiter befindet sich das Wycliffe Well Roadhouse. Der Besitzer des Wycliffe Well Roadhouse sagt von sich, dass er regelmässig UFO's sichten würde und hat dort ein UFO-Zentrum eingerichtet. Ein Publikumsmagnet ist dieser Ort mit den Zeichnungen und Skulturen von fliegenden Untertassen und Ausserirdischen auf jeden Fall.

Die Weiterfahrt auf dem Stuart Highway durch Barrow Creek, Ti-Tree, Aileron, Alkupitja nach Alice Springs zieht sich sehr in die Länge. Einzig die Durchfahrt durch wenige Ranges und die Uebergrosse Statue eines Aboriginee-Kriegers bei der Ortseinfahrt von Aileron bieten etwas Abwechslung. Nicht selten begegnet man hier überlangen Lastwagenkompositionen, den Road Trains.

Interessant sind auch die wilden Kürbisgewächse, welche hin und wieder auf der roten Erde zu finden sind.
